Choosing the right resources for your practice is important, and I know you might have a few questions before diving in.
This FAQ page is here to give you clarity on how the guidebooks work, what makes them unique, and how they can support you at any stage of your business journey.
1. What makes these guidebooks different from other business resources?
These guidebooks are written from my lived experience. They are written solely by myself who has built a successful practice, making mistakes (loads of them), figuring out what works (and what doesn’t), and refining along the way. Instead of vague advice or cookie-cutter templates, you’ll find the hard-won lessons of trial and error turned into practical, actionable steps.
The guidebooks have been written in a conversational tone - I used my dictation from my Notes App to record myself thinking out loud while walking my dog around the neighbourhood, and copy/pasted that content into Canva.
I used a little ChatGPT for a few journaling prompts which was helpful. These you will find at the end of each chapter and they have been carefully moderated by myself to ensure they're actually relevant and help to integrate what was learned in the chapter.
These guidebooks are designed to ease you into business with clarity and confidence. Each guide helps you avoid common pitfalls, align your work with your values, and build a practice that feels sustainable and true to you.
2. What kind of therapists are these guidebooks for?
All therapists or practitioners that work with people will benefit from these guides. I am a massage therapist and I have worked in 5 star spas, sport clinics, physiotherapy offices and in private practice with a range of colleagues renting in other rooms - even though my experience sits closely with therapeutic massage therapy, I have a wide range of insight to challenges and successes that other therapists encounter.
Any bodywork practitioner, beauty therapist, physio, chiro, reflexologist, waxer, etc will experience much of the same challenges when running a practice... and that is exactly what these guides aim to offer.
3. Are these guidebooks suitable for new therapists just starting out?
Yes! The Mastery Series is designed to guide you from the very beginning. Even if you’ve never run a business before, the clear structure and practical steps will help you build confidence. All the guides are written in a step by step structure, to be implemented in your own time and can be circled back to at any time in your career.
4. What if I already have an established practice? Will these still help me?
Absolutely. Many experienced therapists find gaps in their business foundations - particularly like marketing, client retention, or scheduling sustainably. These guides will offer fresh perspective and new ideas to help you refine, redirect, and get back into alignment.
5. How will I receive the guidebooks?
All guidebooks are digital downloads. After purchase, you’ll get instant access to a PDF that you can read on any device.
The access will arrive via a link in an email from Shopify and FileFlare. Given the nature of email security settings and external links, you may need to find these emails in your spam folder.
6. The currency at Checkout displays differently than the website. Why is this?
I am South African and my site is registered with South Africa, so please note that checkout will display South African ZAR currency - your bank will convert automatically.
The prices shown throughout the website in your currency are correct (which you can select from the currency selector), but as my home is South Africa, the final amount will be in my ZAR currency. This is merely a legal requirement and no extra charges are applicable - it's just that the currency will look different, even though the amount is the same.
7. Can I print the guidebooks?
Yes, you can. While the guides are designed for digital use (with clickable links and easy navigation), you’re welcome to print them if you prefer writing and reflecting on paper.
8. Do you offer refunds?
Because these are digital products, all sales are final. However, I have put great care into making sure each guide is clear, valuable, and practical - so you can feel confident in your investment.

9. How much time will it take to work through a guidebook?
Each guidebook is broken into short, manageable sections and you can complete them step by step at your own pace. The guidebooks are designed to support you through your entire journey of building your practice and can be re-used as needed. Some steps are quick, easy and immediate wins and other steps are building blocks that take time to implement and mature.
10. Do I need all of the Mastery Series, or can I just buy one guidebook?
You can start with any guidebook that fits your current need. The Mastery Series is designed to work together, but each guide also stands alone as a complete resource.
